Who is Annie Frances?

Meet Annie Frances, an award-winning Australian cabaret entertainer whose dynamic voice, vivacious personality and remarkable versatility have delighted audiences from Sydney to New York and aboard some of the world's leading cruise lines.

Annie's musical journey began in tropical North Queensland, where she discovered her love of music through clarinet and banjo lessons at the age of nine. After moving to Sydney's North Shore in her mid-teens, her passion for singing flourished under the guidance of John Charles Ferris.
 

Her career took an exciting turn when she was hand-picked to train with Australian musical icon Tommy Tycho at a Voice Productions Music Theatre and Performance Seminar. In 2000, Annie took the leap from a successful corporate career into the world of professional entertainment, and she's never looked back!

After performing as the charismatic frontwoman of a high-energy Sydney dance band, Annie won the Sydney Cabaret Convention, earning an all-expenses-paid trip to perform at the prestigious 11th Annual New York Cabaret Convention at Town Hall.

Returning to Australia, Annie developed her own one-woman cabaret show, going on to receive multiple industry awards and establish an international performing career spanning decades. Her performances have taken her across Australia, to New York, aboard international cruise ships and onto Australian television.

Renowned for her extraordinary vocal versatility, Annie's repertoire celebrates the unforgettable music of the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s, alongside Broadway favourites, country classics, popular hits and multilingual songs. Performing in languages including Italian, Spanish, French, German, Tagalog, Japanese and Hawaiian, Annie even has Swiss yodelling up her sleeve!
